just saw from the news that all the 5 missing dragonboaters have been found. not them, but their bodies.

i am suddenly overwhelmed by the incident and i really feel alot for them.
the 5 pple are talented pple and may serve as an asset for the nation, the country, and they have left the world like that.

You may ask, why do i feel so sad about it?

Yes, i do not know them personally, but they are our own pple. we live together in the same country and grow up altogether. One of them is Mr Singapore 2007. He has just got the title recently and now..

I think through this incident we have learnt quite abit. Life is so unpredictable and we should treasure it. Really. Not only yourself, but the pple around u too. It is worthwhile the time and the effort.

0720 class outing + Terminal 3

Hahha was seriously bored yesterday so i made a trip to Changi Airport Terminal 3 myself. It was a pleasant trip! The facilities there, the designs, furnishing and stuffs are so refreshing! These pictures are those that i took myself, i did not find them on the internet in case u do not understand. haha looks like artist's impression rite? well, it is just that nice! Those who haven visited must go visit. Then i decided to take a bus home. Service 24. Well i tot it wld be a less than 1 hour trip, however, it took 1 hour 40 mins!!!!!! 15 mins was used up for security checking when this bus is entering each terminal basements. oh well, i slept in the bus =X

some pictures of 0720 class outing on saturday. hahah this is the longest class outing i had ever. from 12noon up to 10.30pm. Really had great fun guys! 0720 is such a lovely class. This time, not disappointing as more than half of the class were present, compared to the pathetic 10 previously.

FINALLY PW COMES TO AN END!

Wah sui!

PW has finally come to an end! Our 6 months of torture has come to an end! i really miss PW man! it is such a fun subject! PW.. Geez!

Thank you Chonglik, Jasmine, Vivienne and Inez for actively cooperating with me all these while, i am very pleased that we have worked very well so far!

OP. The waiting moments were scary. You can really see the anxiety of the groups presenting, whether they keep fidgiting, putting their hands into their pockets, pausing in their speech, rushing...

Our group is the last group to present. with moderators and Chief Moderators! it is like so sian.

Well, if u have done OP before, think u shld be able to relate to how i feel bah. Though i have rehearsed 5.6 times the night before, i still cant help but feel nervous. We kept telling ourselves, it is gg to be over soon... pw gg to be over leh! congratulations!

Our group to present. The atmosphere was stiff as usual. But our softtoys had lessen the stiffness of the atmosphere i think, as i can see smiley faces. Yeps, we start our presentation. Every group member, including myself, showed signs of nervous... lol. either speak too fast, skipped some points, forget to press slides. well they were not tt serious luckily.

The assessors werent as scary as what we perceived them to be luckily.

After our OP we were like so happy! so, we went out with eugene, ian's group and my group to sort of 'celebrate' the end of PW! woohoo..

so we went to J8 to eat the subway. lolx. the meal is so not worth it. A bread, a cookie and a cup of small drink costs my $8.90! so not worth it larh. but nvm.

yea, after that, we dont noe for wad reason, stood outside the cinema for about 20 mins. hahahahaha... talk talk talk.. oh ok. then eugene wants to eat mini melt. So they went to exchange notes for coins and they realised that the notes cant even be insert into the machines in the first place! LOL.

then we took out some coins to lend them, so inez went to buy the minimelt. The machine shows some pictures of the different items they have. Some of us wanted the free toy, so we asked inez to choose the rainbow flavour.

The vending machines had these pictures. on the pictures, for example the rainbow one.. it wrote

and GUESS WHAT? Inez did this...

it is unknowingly. she didnt noe she had to press on the buttons at the side! then eugene was like "PRESS THE NUMBER 7 LARH" ....

then immediately, everyone burst out laughing! inez laughed until she sat on the floor. hahah.. it was so super funny! lol...

after that felt damn tired, so went home to sleep... 0720 class outing and class t shirt coming soon!!

Haha。The above pictures are the YanziUnlimited fanclub pictures. I have joined the fan club yesterday. Wow, the satisfaction you get when you watch Singapore Hit Awards with them is very different from when you watch with your family or your other friends. It is because we all come here to support 1 person - YANZI. And everytime Yanzi gets an award, we will scream, shout, clap, cheer everything la! It is like all of us strike lottery like that. It was quite in unison. Yesterday was a very memorable day. I have been attending SHA for many years and yesterday was the most fufiling one! Especially when Yanzi swept 6 big awards and Ni Guang album swept 8 awards! We were all so happy. SHA rocks! Yanzi rocks!

I am sooooo happy 0720 no one is left behind! Rock on guys!!

Got back my results slip. Yes promoted. I have made a promise to myself at that very moment. I will work very hard and aim for at least a B for every subject in the block test next year. You may think it is impossible. But i think it is possible, provided u work hard. My holidays are set to revise my J1 stuffs, to strengthen my J1 foundations. I realise alot of work have to be done. JC is all about independent learning, isnt it? So i am gg to work hard.

My worry for days has come to an end, like a burden is off my back. I suddenly felt so much better. The feeling is so unexplanable. For those who retain, please work hard. Not that the school think u are bad, jus that they think u need more time. Dont give up on yourself yea. I believe you all can make it. Of course, to all who promoted, doesnt mean u are good, also must work hard. I have said in my previous posts, 2007 is a very happening year to me, alot of internal struggles in me, double, triple, quardruple stress on me, greater responsibility on me. I have realised that it is time for u to help yourself instead of waiting for people to help you. Have learnt alot in 2007. Thanks to my friends, teachers as a well as Nanyang. My parents and sister.

I am very happy that 0720 promoted altogether. The feeling that we might part was not good. I see friends crying over frens parting, vice versa. It is very good that 0720 whole class promote. Lets work together toward the A levels. I believe we all can achieve good grades!!

i have got so much problems with myself lately,
emotionally
more n more things are just coming towards you

今天我带着一副很沉重的心情上学

PROJECT WORK已把我和我的组员折磨到不行
真是受不了
尤其是在辛辛苦苦做完了PW之后，结果老师还是不满意。

也是做出重要抉择的时刻
不可掉以轻心，否则会后悔
所以，我算慢小心的

不过人都回犯错
小孩犯错可以原谅
不过长大后的我们犯错，则得承担后果
倍感压力。。。

情绪波动之大，功课繁重，压力巨增，深受挫折，友情挫折，亲情挫折
纷纷涌向我
我该如何应对？
发掘我现在处理事情的方法已经和往日不同
不知道这是好事还是坏事

Aquarius About Your Sign...

Aquarians basically possess strong and attractive personalities. As what i have mentioned from the previous post, Yanzi has decided to give up her place in the nomination list for Best Local Artiste Award. I feel so proud of her. It really takes alot of courage to make a decision like that. The reason she gave was "She has already bagged the award 5 times and she hopes other local singers can be given a chance to get this award as well. She hopes all local singers can improve together!! I am filled with TEST TEST TESTs this week.

Finally tomorrow is our last test for this term

Ok before i talk about Mr and Ms Nanyang

i want to talk about chemistry SPA.

After 2 SPAs, i realise SPA isnt very scary

and something very funny happened during SPA yesterday

the tension was quite high that day

it was a rainy morning somemore

everyone in class were revising their precious chem SPA notes

until ms tan gave us the signal to get into the room

not long after that we started the practical

the room was damn quiet

after we did all our calculations and skill d

everyone started to do their experiments

all the fans were off

and smoke can be seen

something funny really happened

pingmay's table suddenly have a thick layer of smoke

a few seconds later, a considerable area of her table suddenly got onto fire

it was very funny

jus like what vivienne had said in her blog

she gave their kind of 'i dont noe wad to do now' that look

the whole class started laughing damn loudly

eugene's influential laughter can be heard

later i asked Pingmay wad happened, she said the alcohol spilled on the table

and she tried to clean it but dont noe why it got onto fire

Its another long day in school for me. I was being pulled out of bed. Why? This morning was a rainy morning. It is such a good time to sleep. So, have to drag myself out of the bed to get to the school. Upon leaving my house, I have been holding physics lecture notes. Any idea why? Because physics common test is today. I cant fail. I noe i cant and i dont want to fail too. I dont even want a jus pass. I want a good pass. Hope i can get it.

Chemistry is my most interested subject now. No matter which chapter, as long as it is chemistry, I am interested. The presence of Ms Tan in my JC life have risen my interest in this subject, and I know she is a good teacher. A real good teacher. I cant find any other teacher who is more than willing to help her students with her schoolwork despite her heavy workload. She will always try to find time for us. Even though Joshua asked her to make a trip down on Saturday morning 7am for consultation. She stayed in Sembawang and she has been doing this since 3 weeks ago. I seriously wonder where to find a more hardworking teacher than she is? Today chemistry tutorial she didnt look happy. Her face is filled with little stains of disappointment. Wonder why. Last 10 minutes before the tutorial ends, she finally said something about the test. I knew it was because of the test. She said, "A couple of single digits...". I was quite saddaned by her words, because I feel that I have let her down. I seriously do not know how well i will do for the test. I just knew that i could have done very well if I were given 15 minutes more. In any way, the test is over and I dont wish to think about it already. During chemistry lecture today, she passed kimberly a list of students to attend remedial. In case you do not know, she had already asked us to sign up for a consultation slot with her, and she has already organised extra lessons on monday so that we can get as much from her as possible to do well for the test, as well as promos. Imagine she has to do this for 3 classes. Where can she find the time? I think all of us should work hard for chem and dont disappoint her. We cant disappoint teachers who had wholeheartedly committed herself to her students. I WILL DEFINITELY WORK HARD FOR CHEMISTRY.

Physics was all along my worst subject. I dont seem to handle the concepts very well and I am like scoring a damn low score for physics for mid year. Common test is another opportunity to save myself. SO i really studied for it. Finally I can manage to do alot of questions. Whether it is correct or not, I dont noe. But at least i noe i can attempt to all the questions.

To me, it really doesnt matter how badly u have done in the past, it only matters if u choose not to do anything about it. The last lap to Promos, lets work hard together! =)

HOW TO CALCULATE WHAT YOU SHOULD SCORE FOR PROMOS + COMMON TEST TO GET AT LEAST AN E?

Let me brief u all about the %
Common Tests - 12.5% x 2
Mid Year - 15%
Promos - 60%

Currently we are in the midst of common test 2

Tests we had taken are Common Test 1 + Mid Year
For example, A scored 12/30 for common test 1 and 30/100 for common test 2
1)Calculate the mark for common test(out of 12.5) 1 : 12/30 x 12.5 = 5/12.5
2)Calculate the mark for mid year(out of 15) : 30/100 x 15 = 4.5/15
3)Sum up Common Test 1 + Mid Year , Total marks(out of 27.5) : 9.5/27.5

Leftover marks : 100 - 27.5 = 72.5%
In order to get an E, use 45 marks to deduct the total marks(out of 27.5)
Marks you should get for common test + promos(out of 72.5) : 45 - 9.5 = 35.5/72.5
Convert it to 100% = 35.5/72.5 x 100 = 48.987% = 49%

Therefore this is the mark you should get for common test + promos to get at least an E. =)

today went school as usual but until like 11... i had a headache. it become more serious as time passes by..

and wads worse was i was having cold sweat after the maths lecture. so i decided to request for early leave. when i reach the general office, i realise that there were alot of people requesting for early leave as well. I was quite surprised.. everyone sick ah. The staff at the general office was quite frustrated and he asked "why are so many of u leaving early?" i was so sian there. After taking the form, i left the general office.

immediately weird feeling came, immediately i rushed to the toilet and threw up lots of stuff.. omg.. 2 times somemore.. then when i reached home, i threw up another time.. sians.. i was so sick tt time so i faster took my panadols and went to sleep.

OMG.. the NDP07 seemed very glamorous.. look at the picture above.. i sort of missed them all!! This year's NDP is a special one cus it is no longer at the Padang nor the National Stadium. It is a brand new location - Marina Centre. I like watching NDP!! It gives everyone a greater sense of belonging, and an indication of how Singapore have progressed so far. I truly love Singapore as this is my homeland. I believe all of u wld think like me too? Yea!!

I DONT NOE WAD I HAD DONE YESTERDAY CUS I THINK I SLACKED ALL DAY... so to make up.. i studied for 7 hours today!! Scary? Nope!

During maths tuition today.. i was damn sian, so i picked up my red pen and drew on a clean sheet of paper. Dont know why this 2 words kept appearing in my mind. So I drew STUDY HARD. Haix.. sound like a nerd right. but i have no choice liao.. either do or die. Yeah..

Seeing all my classmates studying so hard, for example ly and pm, made me more obliged to study more.. hope i really can do well for promos after a disappointing midyear..

Dont say that you are shocked, cause I am also shocked at myself too. I am like totally obsessed with Chemistry now. These days, I have been studying chemistry. Wonder whats wrong with me. Hahax. I think I really do not want to disappoint good teachers like Mr Wan and Ms Tan. Its quite unbelievable that I actually did 1 whole day of chemistry today, without feeling bored of it. It must have been quite fun.

Initially i wanted to study physics, so I brought my physics stuffs and chemistry stuffs too cause there was a consultation this morning. But i ended up studying chemistry only.

Peiting, me and Amos went to Serangoon Mcdonalds to settle our lunch and perhaps study there. Until today we realised that Mcdonald is really not a conducive place to study, food scent kept coming to you, noise too. It was super noisy too. The 3 of us ended up playing calculator game. It was damn fun. We played for 30-45 mins and we were like.. ok we have to study. Finally we decided to go back to Nanyang JC to study. NYJC rocks man! Jus love the study environment. That is where i really can focus and study.

Yea.. great!!

NANYANG FILM FESTIVAL

Yesterday's Nanyang Film Festival was a great success. More than 100% of tickets sold. Felt so apologetic for people who cannot get a seat. However, the whole film festival was quite satisfying. Heartstrings and Recurrence were 2 very good films. Samantha was so paiseh at the back. Hahax.. Mr Kwek's guest appearance was quite anti-climax but it was overall a very good film. I think we should send them to competition. Hahax... THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT!!

Nanyang's annual film festival will be held tomorrow. Really thank all of you sincerely for supporting me. The film festival receives great response. More than 75% of tickets sold. The Straits Times will be coming tomorrow too.

Yea, as tomorrow is the film festival, we have to prepare props and stuffs, attire as well. Thus, me trupti joshua n moses went to PS to shop. Initially we thought that Spotlight in PS will sell the stuff we wanted,however there isnt. Haha..

MOSES FINALLY MADE A BREAKTHROUGH...he bought his first ever jeans!! That noob has never wore jeans before. Thus he didnt noe how to choose..hahax.. whenever we gave him advice ,he will think that we are trying to make him wear some ugly jeans. It was quite hilarious la. But he really looked good in jeans. he bought a shirt as well. and the shirt n jean cost a bomb. hahax.. think u shld ask him how much he spent. I bought a black shirt for tomorrow. hahax.. $58..worth it la..quite nice!!

Ok after this post I shall be a mugger for the next 52 days.. it is a real important to me.. hahax..dont mind me if u see me keep studying.

I am always super tired on tuesdays.. its like a SUPER LONG DAY LARHZ... 8am - 5pm of school lehz. Can die. After everything i felt so tired. However i decided to study in school after lessons today. Supposed to be productive but after meeting Peiting and her friend from Biz Club.. we were like laughing out loud so badly for about 45 mins. Very humorous both of them. Or am i the one who made them laugh. But it was like damn funny lah. I dont find such fun and laughter in 0720.. i found it from someone who i just got to know of. Weird rite? I think we can really clique. haha.. Amos, Peiting and me have already decided to go Night Study whenever we are free.. and I gladly wanted it in the first place! Tell you wad.. I can really concentrate much better in school. At home.. there is TV, Laptop, CD, Radio to tempt me.. hahax. Not enough self control lah.. Shall work on it. Have already stopped emoing. I am really tired. I dont even feel like going to school anymore. I feel so suffocated. After yesterday, I really felt that I cannot fit into the JC life. I kept everything in my heart after school yesterday. Let out a little. Some of my frens had realised that. I kept myself at one corner reflecting, reflecting on why my results are still like that although i have studied. I feel like letting out a GOOD cry but i just cant. My emotions is suffocating me. I have met with many failures and obstacles in JC, and I think it is getting out of control. I still cannot adapt to the situation where I can really handle JC life. When can I do that? I know I am not alone, but I am disappointed with myself. I had disappointed my parents, tutors, teachers and those who care. The pressure I get in JC is 5 times heavier than in O levels. I seriously do not know what I should do next. Mr Wan told me "I know you are working very hard, u r struggling...".. I felt quite touched upon hearing that. This period of the year is my worst depression so far.

After a talk with Joshua, i felt alot better le. He is right. I should learn to let go abit. Dont keep myself stressed. He said I am competitive. I didnt rebutt him because maybe that was the impression I had given him. I guess being worried may be misinterpreted. I am really ver, thankful for very great friends around me who helped me out when I feel down. He made me think more positively about everything.

Guess I really have to get settled down and mug for the next 11 week. I cant let myself down anymore!!

I pin no hopes on full attendance of 0720 outling liao cus it will never happen.. but we made great achievements today as 17/25 people came! Ok good achievement compared to 10/25. yeah. Yeah.. altho we met at mcdonalds, but we celebrated in school after that. lol. Gerald was caught into a surprise when he realise that we actually bought a cake for him.. he seemed quite happy about it. But gerald hates strawberry jus like i do so he didnt really eat the cake.. lol. Mid Year Exam

Alright. I am feeeling so demoralised after 2 days of exams. 2 DAYS! Not even half of it yet. Yesterday's maths paper which i thought was hard, was nothing actually compared to the CHEMISTRY paper i did today. I seriously wonder what is the problem with the teachers. They want their students to do well but set questions which are so much harder for the students to understand. I can guarantee that those who had really studied might even fail this test. I think majority will fail lorx. MCQ is like 20 questions in 30 mins. Hardly enough time to finish. I suppose i dont know how to do alot of mcqs. Alot ofpeople ticcummed in the mcqs cus not enuf time.

I guess this is the standard i shld be getting for the rest of the papeers...

Mid year examinations is merely 2 days away. Am I prepared for it? I couldnt answer that question. Can u?

At 1 moment, i think i had prepared enough. At the next moment, i think i had not prepared enough. Why am i always feeling like that before examinations? I dont want to feel like this...cause it will only stress me out. Stop stressing..

Mid year exams only lasts for 1 week and I am working day n nite over the june holidays to prepare. Sounds illogical ah.. but thats wad every JC student are doing rite? Every paper are approximately 2-3 hours. Wah.. secondary school the longest paper was only 2.5 hours sia. I think there are seriously no proper holidays in JC life. Holidays = Study session. Why like that?! Everytime when I want to go out.. i will feel guilty for not studying. WHY WHY WHY?!

hAIX... i might sound quite emo now. Sometimes i really dont feel like studying. so S-L-A-C-K lorx.. hope i do well for mid year.

The 18th Taiwan Golden Melody Award has just ended, and I am very doubtful bout their reputation of being fair. Is it really being fair? I seriously doubt so. Theymight as well give all the awards to Jolin. I am seriously damn disappointed with this award. Shall no longer believe the award ceremony results. The judges this year are seriously blind and brainless. 3 awards today i tot was very very disappointing, not forgetting other awards which i tot was still acceptable.

1) Best Newcomer

Whu's the winner? NO ONE KNOWS lorx! I tot Evan Yo will definitely get this award and i was SUPER SHOCKED when his name wasnt announced on stage.

2) Most popular male and female singer

These 2 awards should not have been brought up at all!! It is jus unfair to judge one's popularity by internet voting

3)Best Male Vocalist
He is the dark horse amongst the nominees. No one expect him to get! Gary, JJ and David Tao are the expected winners! one of them. Bao Leng!!

4)Best Female Vocalist

JOLIN is the last person on the nomination list that i tot wld get the award!! she do not have good vocals! Yes.. she is popular.. so she won most popular female singer award! but this award.. she really dont deserve! any one in the nomination can get except her! TW melody award really KAYU this yr.. judges no brains i think all of u shld agree with me lah.. how is it possible that A MEI and SANDY LAM lost to her?!! one word - PATHETIC.

Why i say that? One class of 25 people. 3 people turned up for afternoon, and 10 for the night. Why LIKE THAT??

OK although only had 10 pple.. but it was quite fun. We tried to make omelette using the bbq thing.. it was super nice lah!! intended to celebrate shanyi,kimberly and joshua's birthday but shanyi didnt come. But it was really fun. Hhax. Then went to play arcade for a while then go home. Moses wasnt feeling well so wanted to take a taxi, so i accompanied him. No taxis were in sight!! Tried to call one.. waited for about 15 minutes before a reply. Taxi came and it was a mercedes.!!! quite ex leh. starting fee $2.50 with and extra charge of $4.00. which means, before it had even moved any distannce, we have to first pay $6.40. ?!?!?!...like exploiting our money lorx.

There are damn lots of cloud these days! Here are some pictures i took. It looks as if the cloud is surrounding the island. Somehow it looks like 'tsunami'. There are very little blue at sight on the sky. I suppose you all didnt realise. Slow down ur pace and look at the sky.

What does it signify?

My father say it was because of the rapid evaporation of water due to the melting of the ice at North and South poles. Well. It sounds like something bad. But the sky was really amazing!

Today was quite well spent.. i supposed. I have learnt alot from ms lim's consultation. Ms lim rocks lah. She always says she's the best and i dont deny oso. So she rocks. Yeps. had completed AJ and Hwa Chong Mid year papers. They are hard ok? I had lost count of how much time i used to do the papers. Chemistry still on stoichiometry... tmr starting on redox.

Yeps.. went to run this morning. I felt so satisfied after the run. It was like a load off my mind. It keeps u so relaxed. Now i started to enjoy running.

Went to Thomson Plaza hoping tt i could buy 2006 other schools mid year papers for chemistry and physics. The auntie knows me. Why? hahax.. she recognises me because she says that normally those who buy exam papers from her are parents. I am one of the rare students buying from her. She also claimed tt i am hardworking.But she was not there today. She wasnt feeling well. Yeps. Hahax.. shant elaborate on that. :P
Saw liangyu and pingmay in school with mr lau. My first thought was Project Work. Well i was wrong.. it was PHYSICS CONSULTATION. Okayyyyyyyz. The top 2 scholars are slowly showing their strengths. Their persistants and dilligence. No offence ah.

Have already started on my next resolution, and it shall end in november. Hope i succeed!

1st Study Day

Yeps from the title u shld noe lahz. TOday is the 1st day i locked myself up at home to mug. Well, not exactly mug lah. I did Chemistry's Stoichiometry today.. solid 3 hours bah. Then went to do a bit of maths. Hope is productive though.

Hahax.. watched Campus Superstar. I think standard this year is comparable to last year. but just dont understand why some judges gave some contestant a certain mark that he shldnt deserve. well its not up to me to decide. ha hax..

IT Fair

Its Vesak day today and it is also the first day of IT fair. It is amazing to know how the Information Technology has evolved over the years. Many things you thought that was not possible has been made possible with Information technology. You are currently using Information Technology to view this page and I am also using Information Technology to type this post. Yes. We are all surrounded with Information Technology.

This is the 2nd time i guess, that I had visited the IT Fair. The impression IT Fair gave me the other time was not ideal as it was completely packed with people. One may have to stay stationery for a moment before moving on. I dont like this feeling. But the good thing in IT fair is that you get to see all sorts of different IT stuffs! Despite having to tolerate the immense crowd. I still went to the IT fair to take a look.

The IT Fair starts today and ends on sunday. It is at the convention centre. This reminds me of the CIP Programme that i had last week. It was truly memorable.

We were asked to ask people to donate for an organisation under YMCA. Not that i hadnt done this before but this time was pure volunteer. Managed to colllect $60 upon standing for 3 hours. The 3 hours made me realise alot of things. Singaporeans are very resistant to donating. It is an ugly sight. I can accept that people do not want to donate. But i really cannot tolerate people who pretend that they didnt hear you! I encountered this approximately 50 times that day. Quite pissed. If they do not want to donate, give me a signal or tell me that they do not want to donate, by pretending not hearing, u r wasting my breath! This is a reflection some Singaporeans should have. It was really very rude. Ok enough of that.

Yeps.. had GP mid year today. You must be wondering why nyjc has mid year gp exam on saturday.. but i seriously dont know. anyway.. i was quite worried for this paper because i sort of flunked the first one. Came school at about 7.20am.. saw liangyu n pingmay.. liangyu seemed paranoid.. wonder why she was as i think i shld be the one being paranoid... pingmay is worst.. she brought 1 thick file of GP notes!!! That shocked me... lol

When i entered the exam venue, i realise that we need not sit according to index number.. so i just took a seat. I really wonder how the teachers allocate seats for candidates as some seat they had allocated had no tables! I felt quite puzzled.. candidates who arrived late were asked to sit at the back..

When the minute hand ticked off the 8.00am mark.. we were asked to start the paper. I schemed through all the 12 questions.. and surprisingly i spent like 5-7 minutes just to choose what question i should do.. in the end i chose to write poverty question. Hope i do well. After exam, as usual, all of us crowd around and discussed answer. Gerald left lines and many scared him saying tt he shldnt or get penalised or something.. he was quite traumatised lah.. .but i dont think they will penalise him for leaving lines because i doesnt make sense. Chonglik they all wanted to go pool but i had cca meeting so i stayed back in school. Besides i dont know hw to play pool.

Thought initially that the meeting will commence right after exam.. little did i know that huiting had pw meeting.. dickson has gp till 1115.. trupti, moses n joshua not coming.. shiqi, pamela and geraldine went for breakfast.. and i am alone in school. Thank goodness moses grp wer having pw meeting and joshua n xiangyu stayed bk too.. so talked lor.. jasmine came too.. we talked quite a bit on the pre-u-seminar. It seems quite cool. Yeps...waited for 2 hrs practically doing nothing.. then we went to Chom Chom to eat lunch..me shiqi huiting n dickson. They say go chom chom sure eat alot one.. i didnt buy that at first but i realised it was quite true.. shiqi n huiting kept wanting to buy things to eat... i managed to control myself.. so happy or else i wld grow fat again.. later went dickson's hse intending to learn photoshop n premiere.. but we practically slacked off the few hours.. cus dickson's computer broke down.. and he was trying to repair very hard... reformatted.. load software.here n there.. huiting slept lah! she go anywhere also sleep.. is so called 最高境界！dickson finally taught us some basic techniques about photoshop.. so learnt abit then left..

During maths extra lessons today, I was on the verge to tear the maths lecture test into pieces. Reason being.. I was too angry with myself. I feel like an idiot who cannot even do well in a simple paper! Papers which i thought I wld pass, i failed! I really didnt expect myself to flunk maths as i thought i can do all the questions. I can really do all the questions...CARELESSNESS brought me down! What the shit. Sorry to Peiting n liangyu if i dont behave like my usual self after lesson cause i really cldnt control. This had greatly jeopardised my confidence in mathematics which i thought is my best subjects among all...

I guess i am totally in control by my carelessness... it applies to physics, chemistry as well! I cld have done alot better!

I am super super disappointed with myself...hope i see some light..

Saturday. It is the weekend of the week!! The past 2 weeks has been very exhausting for me. Almost everyday was filled with tests, tests! Ok i finally survived the two weeks. My results are as follows, 1 D, 1 E, 1 S and 1 U... haven got back maths test.. econs too. I dont think it was satisfactory. Well.. shall work hard.

Yeps.. napha is over. and my results are as usual. but i am happy for my run yesterday. lol..

It is really a great day today!! Our PW GPP has finally been accepted!! Woohoo.. We were like so busy doing it yesterday and today and it finally got thru. so happy. Steve Irwin rocks

I flunked my GP test. Ok i dont usually write argumentative essays and thus i think it was due to my inexperience. I will focus very hard on gp now as it is really important. English has never been strong for me and i want to change it. This is going to end. My june holiday will be a full blast.. hope i can achieve my target for midyear. It is not impossible.

I really do not understand why there is such a subject called PW. It really do not make sense. We are like committing so much of our time on this subject which we do not really like. Just because it is compulsory for A levels and we have to do it. My GPP draft has been rejected and the edited one has to be DONE BY TOMORROW!! WTH..

I think i am really stressed up with PW, especially I have alot of tests being arranged this 2 weeks. I really wanted to do well for my test but I cant neglect my PW as well. How to manage?

I am glad that i fared pretty well(not very well, though) for Econs, Chinese and Physics tests, although there is still a gap between my midyear targets, I will work hard. Had SPA today and i found it quite ok. At least my readings dont differ alot..so accuracy mark shld be there, Haven got back my GP and maths tests.. hope i Do well. Another econs test is on friday..and i am not confident. How? Lets see.

Spiderman III

Yeps..just watched Spiderman III today. It was a real great exciting movie. I really like watching action movies as it will really keep your eyes focused on the screen! Spiderman is one of them. Phew... after the maths test today, I am feeling much much better. It's just like i am released from very heavy burden suddenly... this week is really hard to pass. I am feeling so tired everyday coping with tests. Tests everyday..!

I think this week officially sets the pace of JC life, where one cant afford to take a break! I shall adapt to it. 2 big tests again next week.. wonder wads next to come.

Really hope can have a very good sleep! I think it is not quite possible just yet.

Wonder why i title this post as it is. I felt a sense of lost. Tests and Assignments these weeks really didnt put me in the good side. I still couldnt get over with my unsatisfactory MI test and chemistry results. Just what had caused this? I guess fingers should be pointed at me.

Just went to do my Inequality tutorial, and i was super frustrated because i just couldnt get it right despite referring to my notes. I paid attention during lecture! Why is it that i couldnt get it right? PW GPP draft is due on tuesday. And it is not finished yet!! and have 4 tests next week! Let's see..

Monday - GP Test(not confident, am never confident with my english)
Tuesday - Inequality test(I cldnt even get my tutorials right.. HOW?)
Wednesday - Chinese Test
Thursday - Mathematics Test

WTH.. i think all these are stressing my out. I have to sleep at as late as 2am to complete required task!

Shall change my attitude of studying. I am going to bug alot of teachers from now on. Hopes for Common Test shattered but i shall not let history to repeat itself for mid-year exam. Yes that shall be it!

Today was quite fun n happy. maybe bcus tmr is a PUBLIC HOLIDAY!! LOL... Hey Public holiday on my Longest day! Cool right?!

Came to sch quite early today to discuss PW with grp members jasmine, chonglik, vivienne and inez. It was scheduled 0730 hrs and i was punctual. all of them were....late. hahax.

was surprised no other grps came early to discuss PW..arent we supposed to use the time to do so?? they chose to do after sch.

alrite..chinese lesson was fun. my apologies to mr tan cus wasnt concentrating during his lesson as me,moses, joshua,vivienne,shanyi and eunice were talking bout ghost stories. it was the most exciting time ever!! when mr tan looking at us.. we were like pretending to read the text book or speak in mandarin. so super funny lor! but 1 story i gave really scares them off. shant tell u.

vivienne was so scared tt she dont even dare to go to the toilet. lol.

during gp, cassandra's rubber ball dropped onto the floor and shanyi tot it was some black figure, she gave a shocked face to vivienne and vivienne jumped in fear! she let out a short scream too!! lol.. very funny. then subsequently cass's rubber ball dropped 4 times..each time gave them a small shock. haha.. have a gr8 day tmr!

NYJC 30th Anniversary

30th Anniversary today. The school wanted all of us to come and indeed, it wasnt compulsory. Cause they didnt take attendance! anyway i have to come down to hand in my chinese compo. There were seriously alot of people... i saw joshua first n followed him for a while...later i saw kim joan, pingmay, peiting n xiangyu as well as jasmine. we were together the whole2 hrs. it was quite boring as there arent many things for students to do. but i tink the adults n children have lots to do. peiting xiangyu were painting nails. ok.. quite a good job done frm wad i see. shld be lah.. dont know lah..also dnt knoe hw to see..lol

i DEDICATED ni guang to 0720 but it wasnt broadcasted!!!! quite disappointed. but i think there was no time. yeps left at 6... will blog more tmr!

It is APPROACHING 2 AM and i am still not SLEEPING?!

I have just completed my PI 2nd draft, econs tutorial and maths tutorial as well as printing the notes and tutorials from the portal. I could have printed those long ago if not for the scheduled maintainance.

Yesterday morning i woke up and depression got over me. I suddenly felt very lousy about myself, i kept thinking i cannot achieve great things, simple things also cannot do well. I dont know why i felt this way at that time. I felt so despondent. Maybe the hectic school life is stressing me out. Wasnt in very good mood when i got to school. Was so disappointed with my maths 10 mins test. It was so simple and i screwed it up with just a mixed up with '+' and '-' sign!!! WTH! That feeling was deeper after that. I told myself, be confident with yourself. Things might be all against you at this moment, they will be over soon! cheer up! sigh.. i gotta sleep le or i will have panda eyes..

Below are just my opinions.

Tell me honestly who amongst you actually bought Sun Ho's album? or even listen to her songs??? I DONT. Cause her music arent worth listening! When i saw her mv on television, i turned off the television or switch channel. I really cannot stand seeing her. I seriously DO NOT UNDERSTAND why Sun Ho's album can still sell so well in TAIWAN?? Ok maybe i shld not say sell so well, cause it is very obvious that the chart has been manipulated. Other than G-Music chart, her album is either no longer in top 5, or even not on chart anymore! You can go check charts from other countries. No one in china knows her, 9.5/10 of my frens do not like her, and are like me, switch channels upon listening to her songs.

Let me do an analysis.

Sun Ho's album is released on 5 March 2007 in Taiwan. Given her limited popularity, she topped the g music chart for 2 weeks, with a mere 20% sales. After the 2 weeks, when Yanzi released her album on 22 March 2007, Sun's album dropped to no.2 with 18% and Yanzi clinched the top title with 30%. The following week, Sun's album SUDDENLY boosted up to a 35%!! Clinching the top place and yanzi 2nd. The main motive i think was that she wanted to beat Yanzi in sales. And now Yanzi's album stayed at 2nd on g music chart. Currently, at Sun's 7th week, her % sales are still 20%! I dont think even jay and jolin can beat her. It is so unbelievable!

Top 5 chart in Taiwan is another reputable chart and yanzi has been no.1 since her release of album. Both charts are in Taiwan, WHY IS IT THAT 1 CHART DIFFERS SO MUCH FROM THE OTHER??

In Singapore,Malaysia, HongKong and China, Yanzi beat Sun hands down. If Sun won yanzi in majority of the charts, i have nothing to say, but it is only g music. Very suspicious.

Had PE every tuesday n friday. and i think no one will think otherwise that, today's PE is the most '凶' one!

i think the teachers are crazy. run 5 rounds, did super tiring physical training. i almost vomited... but nvm..still persevered thru.

after PE, i sat down and thought for a while. I actually managed to complete all those tiring activities, i can still rmb how my classmates cheered my on on my last lap on the track! It gave me alot of motivation. Thank u guys!! I think i had made achievements today....!! so happy.

i am now so super enthu with chemistry, i am now the most attentive during chemistry lectures n tutorials... cus it is just so interesting!!! mr wan rocks...

I seriously didnt know what title i should put for this post. So i just name it 'Ahem'.
Funny? Yes Funny!!

My apologies for a long delay in my updates on my blog cause i was really tied down with my heavy schoolwork. I have decided to use my blog more wisely to improve on my gp. If you find anything wrong with my sentence structure, feel free to bring it up to me.

The past week was really very tiring. Especially when i realise that i have been reaching home after 6pm everyday. Is JC life supposed to be like that? It doesnt seem logical as we had lesser workload during secondary school and we get to dismiss so much earlier. Right now when our workload is doubled, school ends very late, leaving us with just the few hours to do our tutorial + study. Just this week alone, i had been doing tutorials till 1 plus am. The contents for each subject puzzled me from the start. I am starting to get the hang of chemical bonding and i am very happy about that although i am still having alot of doubts. Sky told me it is very normal. Well i guessed so.

It was very hilarious during the chemistry tutorial yesterday when we asked Mr Wan how to see if it is simple molecular structure of not, then he said that we need to check the polarity of the molecule. Then gerald n i asked together "what is polarity??". The explanation itself created more doubts. Then end of tutorial, when mr wan was still explaining some stuffs, eunice suddenly screamed very loudly and laughed. We were all astonished, and that includes mr wan. I saw his expression and he was like shocked. It turned out that eunice had managed to solve level 58 of puzzle frenzy of the graphic calculator. It's amazing to know what the graphic calculator can provide eh?

It's friday the 13th yesterday. I didnt quite believe that this day will dampen alot of pple's mood until yesterday. When liangyu, pingmay, vivienne, chandi were all moody, reason that i am not sure of. Tried to console liangyu. Hope they r fine now.

GP essay group discussion yesterday. It was very unproductive. We ended at 4pm and we initially targetted to finish the essay by 6pm. But jokes started and we were like talking about everything under the sun. When Yingjie were talking to her maid on the phone, we started to talk about how scary maids are nowadays, then we went to as far as terrorist attacks. very funny. at about 5.30pm, we are still stucked at intro. haha. in the end, we summarised each paragraph into point form, and we are to do respectively at home.

I am very pleased to hear very good comments on Yanzi's album from everyone who bought. I am so super glad cause i am a no-pay promoter of her album. I have already alot of my frens who bought yanzi's album. so super happy. i am a good promoter. LOL.

Sports Carnival + CJ concert

Woke up at 0645 today cus i have to report to Bedok Reservoir at 0730!! It is like super early lah! Dont know why ny wants to put their sports carnival there. It is like super inconvenient for the majority. My mother fetched me there and we didnt really know how to go, so we used the GPS system. haha... reach there liao,didnt know where is the dragonboat tent, so i jus follow the flow of the crowd lor. walked walked and i saw my class. The girls are early! No guys of my class were in sight except me. Everyone was late. ha ha. Very bored so i start my yanzi advertising again, then there comes liangyu telling me that yanzi album is very nice! i felt super happy! so we started to discuss bout yanzi songs, peiting xiangyu joined in as well. so funny. then liangyu n i started singing yanzi songs. later leon n chandi joined in and sing as well. we sang alot of songs. Alot of yanzi songs, jolin, jay etc. so funny. then we all concluded that we shld go kbox one day. lol. The first item was dragonboat, the dragonboaters - gerald, eunice, eugene, pingmay, yingjie, chong lek, ian, cassandra n rachel went to compete. The rest of us were like watching the competition. We cheered for them. we dont noe wad to cheer, so jus shouted "20...20! 20...20!" hahaz. They didnt win but nvm. great efforts. The item ended at like 0830 hrs and our next reporting time is 0940. 1 hr plus of waiting! All of us were like want to go eat breakfast not? westood there n discussed for like 30 mins?? and thus not enuf time to eat breakfast liao. so we proceed to the running tent. We all sat down and started disicussing bout mandarin pop again. Then liangyu borrowed my phone to listen to music. ha ha they used up 50% of my battery that day. lol. running started at about 1000, then we cheered.! joshua, ian came in 1st n 2nd. felt so happy for them. we kept shouting kimberly, joan and cassandra's names. joan felt abit paiseh but nvm. frisbee was like shit. the soil was damn muddy lah! and 3 of us including me are so inexperienced so we lost lor! i spent dont know how long to get the soil off my shoes. sianded.

in the end, pegasus didnt win. but we showed much efforts. initially wanted class outing.bu alot ofpple cannot mke it so cancelled.

wen home and rest awhile cus quite tired. i listened to 逆光 album 2 times. called ryhn n advertise to him bout the album. ha ha....

then met them at tpy station. went to watch cjc concert. it is quite boring. cjc pple there are a crazy lot. laugh at anything and scream..then we shouted "foo yong di" very loudly. haha... the girls behind talking very loudly then sean was so pissed off and shouted "CAN U SHUT UP?!", one of the girls very paisehly gave a strong "YES!". alot of people were looking lor.. but really lah they were very irritating. today gg to chiong PW and Binomial Theorem! GO GO GO!

Hardworking

I feel so hardworking these few days, yesterday was the first day that i stayed up all the way till about 1 to complete all my tutorials. Normally, for questions that i think i do not know, i jus left them aside and copy the next day. But yesterday was different. I can stare at 1 question for about 1 hour just to figure out how to do! Until when i realised that i couldnt do, then i decide to ask teacher. Like what my maths teacher Ms Lim always says

"Dont noe how to do nvm, at least u must try."

today very very scary. I have a chemistry lecture right before econs lecture. At about 10.45am, my stomach start to ache. my contents in the stomach are going to come out le lor.. and i 忍，一直告诉自己不要让它出来！忍！到1115，终于上厕所。不管了啦！

today is also the very first day that i stayed back all the way till 6 to clarify my doubts with teacher. wah... achievements. I think this shall be the way i should attend to my studies from now on...

read sean's blog and he said "from sec 1 to sec 4, most people changed, some for the better, some for the worse".

i suddenly recalled alot on my secondary school life. I have indeed seen alot of people change. Good change, bad change, small change, big change. Some of them have changed so drastically that i dont think i even understand them anymore. Some of them whom i didnt really like initially become my best of friends. How amazing! although now alot of my best friends are not together with me in ny, we still keep in contact. It will be a long-term friendship i suppose.

The exclaimation meant something. I thing I am gonna be tied down by Project Work for the rest of the year. It seems SUPER HARD lah. Just done researching on my topic, and i spent like one-half hours! omg. and the teacher said something like "i need about 6 hours to complete my PI".

6 HOURS! Just the starting and already spending so much time..

i dont know what else i can expect in future...

PW seems so unimportant and IT IS LIKE SOOOOOOO IMPORTANT lah!

ny yesterday had talks all the way till 12. and i had a super long break frm 12 to 3 lah!
we all knew we didnt had things to do n will be bored to death, so we spent like 30 minutes discussing where we shld go.
and in the end, decided to go back sr with gerald, rachel n cassandra.
immediately i feel the power of the principal. It was their break n it was unusually quiet. My initial thought was that alot of them went out for lunch. Then i slowly approach the concourse. and u noe what??

seriously i wont be of any surprise if they were all j2s. i was kind of scared off... what has the world come to???

i feel so devastated today...super sad. It has been super long since i cried. Ok maybe it is my fault... my shoulder ache is irritating me and + + + headache...wth. everything just arrived as if nobody's business. got chided by my family members yesterday night and today morning. felt sooo sad.

ok i am feeling much better now. ignore the 1st paragraph.

yesterday was the last day of nyjc jc1 level camp. the camp isnt fun. but it had managed to bond 0720 together. my class is so bonded that we even talked about playing mahjong together. lol. in the end, pegasus didnt win much as expected but we were happy. 0720 is such a fun class.. such a pity that i couldnt join them for class dinner as i have primary school gathering right after that. Pressure as usual on meeting my primary school friends, as alot of them are very tall now and i am still stuck at my height. even xiangrui is quite tall now about the same as me. eve looks different. shermaine and jingying has more fashion sense now. jerry is cool as usual. they said ive lost weight. felt quite happy bout that.

initial plan was to have steamboat at marina bay. but dont noe for what reason some people didnt want to eat at marina bay. so we were like doing nothing at marina bay mrt station. after much discussion, we decided to go marina centre. yeps..we walked and walked. we really didnt know what to eat and where to go. eve and jerry actually wanted kbox buffet dinner. sing + eat together. it was like $28 lah... so ex. so we dropped the plan. decided to settle dinner at Suki Yuki, the japanese steamboat restaurant beside the kbox. we were really talking away happily bout 6B life... Y cube...musical drama... basically everything under the sun. out of the 3 tables, i thought our table was the most noisy... it was really damn funny talking bout 6b. really miss primary 6b. very fun and high class, compared to current life where everyone is like competing with each other and we cant lose out. really miss all my frens. hope can have more gatherings.
oh ya, while eating i realised xiangrui didnt use chopsticks correctly and i laughed at him. then when i used the chop sticks to take the watermelon, it dropped on the sauce and it splattered on my shirt....aiya.. shouldnt have laughed at him. lol. eve xiangrui n i are loyal yanzi fans. i think even jerry is also being influenced. jerry is also a yanzi fan?? think so. then we made ice cream. first time learn how to make ice cream with the ...i dont noe how to call that... well it was delicious...after dinner was about 10, and i was surprised that they didnt really want to go home yet. play bowling, pool... i thought i couldnt stay out so late. and i cant enter arcade with nanyang school pe tshirt. so i left first with pota. pota got new name, 'po te duo' with nickname Sweet. LOL. super funny lah. currently waiting for eve to send me photos. and will post some nice ones on the blog. 6B rock on!

Ok. NYJC orientation has come to an end. But scenes of the orientation still appears in my mind. I didnt think it was fun until the very last day, which was friday. We played the detective game where the winner of the beauty paegent was murdered on the day itself and we have to find out the murderer. It was quite fun though.

The most fun part of the orientation is the mass dance. Collaboration of 3 different songs and different dance steps. The mass dances really rocks. And we had DISCO night. Lights are turned off, leaving disco lights. Everyone started running n dancing in the hall. It was really SUPER HIGH. We danced with different groups of people despite we dont really know them. When the mass dance songs were played, it marks the end of the disco night, and also end of orientation.

Level camp on 15,16 march. Looking forward to it!

Ok back to the topic.

Yeps. I was posted to NYJC.

Frankly speaking, i was really very fortunate that i could enter this school. What i have been worrying before the JAE results are out was that i could not even enter nanyang jc. I heard 6000 people chose nanyang as one of their choices and 2000 people choose nanyang as their first choice. I was really STUNNED when i heard this.

Will this dampen my chances of getting into nanyang considering the fact that i placed nanyang as my 2nd choice, right after anderson. I was right. I didnt get into AJ as i wasnt really qualified. And i was right too that i am super lucky that i got into nanyang. The cut off for science stream dropped to partial 10. and i am one of the lucky ones who got in. I have frens who have the same points as me and didnt enter. Ok i was damn lucky.

1st day at nanyang wasnt good at all. it was totally boring. The whole program on that day was so disorganised and the freshies didnt know what to do and the instructions. Everyone was like walking around like aimless sheep,lost souls. Yeps did the subject combi choosing yesterday and cca. i signed up for 3. haha. ok that all i have for the 1st day

2nd day of nanyang. My OG and I started to bond after ice breakers. In the morning, all j1s are still so dead. (as in super quiet). Ice breakers were short but fun. We actually know each other through the games. After that we set off for games. Games were not in the college. Was looking forward to it. The games werent that fun. jus normal games. but searching for game stations was the fun part. We had quite a gr8 time.

Afternoon, we did mass dances. It was super cool, compared to SRJC. the song was 'over protected' by britney spears. and the other one i am not sure bout the name of the song. it was quite fun. AQUEO have alot to work on compared to ARGO. ARGO = Power la... AQUEO = Bo Power. Hopefully tmr will be a very fun day.

Realise why i always blog about the day before for CNY? Cause

i played mahjong again yesterday till about 3.45am today. It was quite a cool experience as never in my lifetime i can actually play 2 rounds of mahjong for consecutive 2 days, eating into the midnight!! It was super cool. Yeps.. didnt win.My cousins were just too pro.

I won quite a bit in the beginning but fengshui lun liu zhuan, i began to lose. So i ended up losing $6.40.

Haha.. but it is ok. It will jus be a training for me. My losses are covered with blackjack. i won quite a bit for black jack.. as stated frm the previous post. So losses from mahjong didnt make me lose overall.

Previous CNY was quite boring as we didnt play mahjong. so all we could do was black jack. When it comes to a time where no blackjack is played, we basically had nothing to do!

This year, we made a change. suddenly all are so keen on mahjong. now i realise mahjong is not only for aunties n uncles, it is also for young people like me!!

Stephanie, valerie and hillary wasnt really keen on playing mahjong thus they went to play computer instead. well i thought they were quite bored.

what a happy cny i had. today is the last day for playing cards n mahjong with money with family. tmr school reopens!!

Didnt have time to blog these few days cause i was super busy. Yesterday was the 1st day of lunar new year. All relatives from my father's side came to my house because my grandparents are here so i do not have to do much house visiting.

Played black jack and i won quite alot. Why?

i had about 4 times black jack, 2 times ('no-leng') dont noe how u all call that(the 5 cards below 21 points one??), and a few times 21 points exactly. i think i was lucky. i didnt count my winnings but i played with coins initially and ended up having notes. i suppose it was bout $12. I dint bet much. $1 at a time. lol

Went to visit my tuition teachers house with my sister and cousins. we returned back home after that. Buffet dinner was set up.

haha. We dont play $1 $2, but 10c 20c. My first round was not good. i lost $6.30. After that, we played the second round. My cousins were super lor. 2nd round i won the most! damn happy. altho small winnings each time but i wont quite alot in the end. won $4.80.

Although overall still lost a bit, but i was happy i cld play mahjong during cny.

still have 2 days of house visitings to do. will blog about it again.
